Linking KDS and Waiter Apps with Castle S1F
You can use any android mobile phone or tablet to connect your POS to our secondary modules like KDS, Waiter App or Number Call. Install our Tools app on your Android device. You will need to request the URL from our support team. Please inform them the version of the POS software that you are using currently. This information can be found on the top right corner of your Settings page.
Our support team will provide you with the URL to download our Tools apps on your Android device
After installing Lunchbox Tools app, select the module you would like to install on your device.
Please note that Waiter App is only applicable if you are operating Tables Service.
Click “OK”.
Your Tools Android device will automatically detect the correct revenue centre if you are connected on the same wifi network. Click on the revenue centre that is applicable.
Respective KDS and Waiter App screens will appear on your Android devices.
Linking Number Call App with Castle S1F
After installing Lunchbox Tools app on your Android Tablet, select the module you would like to install on your device.
Please note that Number Call is only applicable if you are operating Quick Service.
Ensure that you are on the same wifi network as your Castle Device.
Click Ok.
On your Castle Device, go to Settings.
Click Printer Devices.
Click the Number Call icon.
Click Connection Number Call.
The Call Number Device will automatically detect the correct revenue centre or IP address if you are connected on the same wifi network as your POS device.
Click on the revenue centre or IP address that is applicable.
Connection is done.
